Training for Youth in Nonviolent Direct Action

Southeast_Burma.JPG
Training for Change leads a workshop for middle schoolers

This will be a space for youth to share and learn about direct action.

Have you been to a march or seen people in the streets protesting? What are the strongest ways you can participate in adult-organized actions? How can you use your power and lead actions of your own in the face of injustice?

Come for a fun afternoon of playing and learning about why we do actions and how to use your skills as we join together to make our voices more powerful.

Designed for grades 2-8, but please reach out if you have any questions about how you can participate. Contact Ingrid Lakey, [email protected].

Highschool-aged Youth and Adults! Same time, same place: Come for a concurrent training, Beyond Marches and Rallies.

Childcare for younger children available: please email Katie at [email protected] if you will need it.

We are hosting a series of trainings in nonviolent direct action with Training for Change and POWER.
