Exelon Shareholder Meeting
Exelon, the electric utility, is holding its annual shareholder meeting at Hotel Dupont, and activists will be taking action outside the meeting to warn shareholders about how Exelon is failing people and communities. Please join us.
EQAT has been campaigning to bring green jobs and justice to the region. We’re challenging Exelon and its regional entities, beginning with PECO, to deliver sustainable jobs to communities that need them most, starting in high unemployment neighborhoods.
Exelon’s business model is to drain money from poor cities, including over $1 million per day from Philadelphia region customers. Join us to demand that Exelon have its subsidiaries reinvest in local communities and green energy, or get out of the way.
While shareholders have their meeting inside the Hotel du Pont, we'll have our own organizing meeting outside. We'll have a chance to connect with activists within Exelon's service area from Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
If you can't make it the whole time, drop by when you can. We'll have light refreshments.

The Power Local Green Jobs Campaign uses nonviolent, direct action to demand that PECO, Pennsylvania’s largest utility company, make a major shift to locally generated solar power that benefits low income communities and communities of color. Our campaign brings together EQAT and POWER, a broad multi-faith network of 60 congregations.
